A Walk on the Wild Side Teacher's Kit

Journey to the Serengeti National Park to meet Ledger Lion, Encore Elephant, Glissando Giraffe and many more in this year-long practice motivation game and activity program.
Hang the poster size vinyl game board on the studio wall. For each day a student practices their required amount, they move one space on the board, on a route they choose. When they land on or pass each animal, students complete a required activity and define the animal's musical term name. After the activity is complete, teachers award students a sticker for their Safari Scrapbook (included in the student kit). The goal is to visit all ten animals, collect the stickers, and get back to the gift shop. Even non-competitive students will enjoy this game since it is impossible to tell who may be leading. The journey is more important than winning.
Teacher's Kit Includes:
- Large Vinyl Game Board to Hang on Studio Wall (36" h x 30" w);
reusable for future years (Hang using two to four thumb tacks.) - 40 Game Pieces
Game pieces have a special double sided tape that allow pieces to stick to the board while hanging yet move space to space each week and re-stick. - Teacher's Guide and Activities
Award students a gold paw print medal for completion of their safari (sold separately).
"I have had two days of lessons -- told the kids the Safari starts next week. I have made a big to-do of the trip.....everyone is so excited. Your program is a huge hit! God bless you for the energy you've added to my studio this year!" Jacqueline
"Michelle, your creative talents have made my life so much easier and the studio so much more exciting. Keep up the good work!" Katherine H., teacher in Nebraska
" My kids love "A Walk on the Wild Side," and I have been extremely impressed with their consistent practice. I offer them a bonus of 2 steps each week if they meet their practice goals - I am really surprised by how many of them work really hard to meet their goals." Linda C., teacher from Iowa.
"A parent told me today that she doesn't have to tell her child to practice! They are motivated to practice on their own." Donna B., teacher in Indiana
"Parents are talking about this game at the local girl scout meetings and at school drop off and pick ups. It actually has brought me a new student recently, because students are so excited by it". D. Rosen, teacher in Southern California
"Hailey can’t stop talking about “A Walk on the Wild Side” game. It seems our whole family has heard about it, as well as Hailey’s friends at school. The game has REALLY motivated her to practice more frequently. Each week before her piano lesson, she tries to figure out if she’ll be hitting any milestones so she can earn a prize. She absolutely loves this game and my husband and I are super excited that you have incorporated it into your studio program." Sonya, parent in Southern California
